Abrading … WebI don't believe white lithium has petroleum in it, but I definitely prefer silicone grease. From my experiance white lithium tends to go bad quickly and leave a nasty sticky gummy mess. The silicone grease I use doesn't have that issue, and also is much less thick, meaning it provides less friction for better performance.
