Web阪神・淡路大震災 (Hanshin-Awaji Daishinsai) is a name for the disaster, not for this earthquake, so I separated this name from "Great Hanshin Earthquake" in the article. Daishinsai means large (dai) disaster by earthquake (shinsai), i.e. earthquake calamity. NHK uses this official name approved by the then Cabinet.
